What is an Ice mile?

An Ice mile is a 1.60934 km event according to the rules of the International Ice Swimming Association in a water temperature of 5 degrees Celsius or less wearing only a standard swimsuit, goggles and a swimming cap. Neoprene suits are not allowed.
